I think their singer sometimes sounds a bit like Garmarna's Emma Härdelin. I like how they incorporated the didgeridoo (not exactly a traditional Scandinavian instrument) in several of their songs, especially in the intro of their debut album:



Something also Hedningarna did on three songs of their album "Hippjokk", out of which I probably like this one best:



Especially the part which starts at about 2:19.

i'm no connoisseur obviously but this was was always my fav of beethoven's piano pieces.

Someone recommended this to me and holy crap I'm blown away, it seems to contain all the elements I love about the late 70's/early 80's goth/pop/post-punk bands.
