Fair enough. TAD blows them all out of the water anyway.![]()
Yeah, they're pretty good. I have to listen to the rest of their material.

there was too much good music in the 90's. we got spoiled. so much great shit in the underground too
For me Melvins' best albums go like this:
Bullhead > Ozma > Houdini > Gluey Porch Treatments > Lysol > Prick > Stoner Witch
Ben Shepherd rules. Him and Matt Cameron were a fucking monster rhythm section.About Soundgarden though, you have to admit that there is some monstrous bass-playing on Badmotorfinger. I mean, holy shit...that was one of the highlights of the album.

Superunknown is great also imo.
I know this is a non-metal thread but does anybody know some cool doom metal or heavy metal from Seattle besides Heir Apparent?
Myramainz is sweet stuff on the demo front (especially their 1990 demo), sort of ballsy and teched-up like a mix of Metal Church and Sanctuary (obviously two regional influences).
Those first two tracks you posted didn't do anything for me. I'm after more traditional sounding metal, so not black metal or death metal etc.
I've never actually listened to Nevermore, where is the best place to start?

I'm just realising that Skelator are a band from Seattle, cool. Also I just discovered this demo:
Thanks I'll definitely check out Culprit.
These Nevermore songs aren't doing anything for me though, I'll check out their debut before I dismiss them entirely.
