I just wrote a song. I'm not sure about the middle section of it. There's only like 5 riffs, and it's 5 minutes. I don't know if the flow is right. I'm still deciding...

only five riffs? more than enough imo. I always find that the key to an interesting song is variations on a riff, or something like Additive Motivic Development.
