The "What Are You Doing This Moment" Thread

That's great but old Glen Benton...c'mon turn it up you yanks, things is getting lame round here! Pump up the jam
Pump it up
While your feet are stompin'
And the jam is pumpin'
Look at here the crowd is jumpin'

Pump it up a little more
Get the party going on the dance floor
See cos that's where the party's at
And you'll find out if you're too bad jam!!

about to go do my brakes with my buddy

edit: turns out my brakes are okay. hooray! TIL that Ford's rear brakes on a Focus are unlike any I've seen before. The rotor and axle are all one piece that come off and are held in by four 13mm bolts. my buddy's dad and the guy across the street, both of whom were mechanics back in the day, likewise hadn't seen anything like it, so they thought it was pretty neat

Zombified at work after the best weekend ever.

I met a kid from AZ who looked EXACTLY like what I imagine Cythraul's scrawny deadbeat little bro would look like if he had one. I even asked if you two were related. He was smoking Newports and eating a cheeseburger. Hard to believe just how young and little boy-like some soldiers are.

Wishing Pessimism a happy birthday and grumbling about the torrential typhoon rain that is keeping me stuck at work because I don't want to walk in it.

Someone stop me spending £300 on lego technic right now.
Lego is a nice way of spendning money imo, though technic isn't really my thing.

Came across those the other day while browsing Brickshelf, some of the most amazing lego stuff I've seen imo. Sure I've seen much larger and more extravagant stuff but the attention to detail on those are just awsome.

Playing with legos as an adult is only acceptable when you pretend that you're playing with a child because he asked you to.
