The "What Are You Doing This Moment" Thread

good looking doggie! Is he some sort of Australian cattle dog or shepherd? Did you just get him recently or has he been with you since he was a pup?

He's a mix between husky and German shepherd! I've had him since he was like a year and a half old; I took him from a shelter in my city. He was taken away from his prior "owners" who left him in his 1x1 square teeming with faeces. He was emaciated but they took care of him in the shelter and then he was suited for adoption. We've never had any problems with him; he attempted to flee only once, at the beginning of our journey, but he's never wanted to leave afterwards. He cries when I hide in the forest behind some tree trunk so that he couldnt see me. And he's great with children, they literally ride him or pull his tail but he does nothing. There's completely no aggression in him, which is like the first such case I've seen with dogs. He's afraid when you keep your hand above his muzzle, though. He must have been beaten and abused by these fuckers. But yeah, dogs are the best. I sometimes do push-ups in my garden and he approaches me and lies down underneath me in order to focus my attention on him. He's incredibly adorable. Dont mind my stupid haircut, this photo was taken like last winter or so, and I wanted to experiment with partings lol20180124_152508.jpg 20180120_235411.jpg

haha he looks so unique and awesome. beautiful coat and pigmentation. And yeah i think i remember you telling me about him a while ago. He kind of looks(the way hes built) and sounds(zero aggression and super affectionate) like my girl :)

I'm thinking of maybe adopting a senior fuzzball sometime in the near future.

I adopted a pupper a bit over a month ago, probably the most traumatized dog I've ever come across. He's about 6 months old and named Sully, he's way more sociable now but when I first got him he would freak out over random noises in the house or cower whenever new people would come over. People who abuse dogs are the scum of the earth.

nice. You still have the other dog you rescued, right?

I'm pretty sure Molly was neglected but I have a rough time ascertaining if she was abused. Sometimes if I lift my hand a certain way near her face, she will cower which leads me to believe she was at least hit for some reason. She was in a cage most of the time at her old family because she didn't get along with another dog in the house.

She hardly ever barks and is super affectionate and very observant20190709_203027.jpg

so i pull up at home today and as im getting out some lady in a rav4 smacks my garbage bins over and looks pretty hammered. She kept apologizing and saying she's sorry and shell write me a check etc and i tell her not to worry about it and ask if she's drunk which she denied and said it was her meds and that she was coming back form her psychiatrist or something. I tell her to just turn the car off(which was climbed onto the curb in front of my house btw) and relax. So as i go to the front door i realize she's gotten out of the car and is trying to tell me something and just falls face first into the sidewalk. I run down there and lift her up, open her trunk and sit her down and she just breaks down and tells me her son died and she just cant deal with it anymore. Turns out she was an LAPD lieutenant who had retired to take care of her kids, in 2016 her oldest son(who was 17 att) accidentally shot and killed himself. She was the one to find his body. She just kept bawling and crying and it was just such a crushing story. She also kept insisting that she pay me for any damages, and tbh i dint give a shit about any of that and was just glad she didnt end up wrapped around some poll or something. I went and grabbed some alcohol swipes and bandages, cleaned her up and ended up calling one of her friends(who was also an ex LAPD and a vet) to come and pick her up. She also told me how devastated she was by her sons death and how she used to be such a sharp minded lady with a kind and generous heart and is now just completely broken. Such a sad story. Her car is parked in front of my house right now and has a sticker on it that says "We Love Peter" :(

I dont believe in signs and stuff, but there's a part of me that thinks there was a reason that lady and i crossed paths today.

Hot as fuck today.

Staying inside and drinking the tea of blackness.

I have returned from the honeymoon voyage from the Baltic states, back to work for just one day and then leaving again.

How's life on Ultimate Metals, still talking mostly about poop consistency?

Hot as fuck today.

Staying outside and working 12 hours then coming home and finishing off my grass.

Haven’t been on the internet as much as I’ve normally been but I did manage to dismantle my laptop my wife destroyed and remove the hard drive intact. Looks like it’s still working after putting it in an enclosure, which is a huge deal for me. 200gb of ripped CDs saved instead of starting over from zero.
