Since this is the official "Who Am I?" Thread....

"I’m a modern man, a man for the millennium. Digital and smoke free. A diversified multi-cultural, post-modern deconstruction that is anatomically and ecologically incorrect. I’ve been up linked and downloaded, I’ve been inputted and outsourced, I know the upside of downsizing, I know the downside of upgrading. I’m a high-tech low-life. A cutting edge, state-of-the-art bi-coastal multi-tasker and I can give you a gigabyte in a nanosecond!

I’m new wave, but I’m old school and my inner child is outward bound. I’m a hot-wired, heat seeking, warm-hearted cool customer, voice activated and bio-degradable. I interface with my database, my database is in cyberspace, so I’m interactive, I’m hyperactive and from time to time I’m radioactive.

Behind the eight ball, ahead of the curve, ridin the wave, dodgin the bullet and pushin the envelope. I’m on-point, on-task, on-message and off drugs. I’ve got no need for coke and speed. I've got no urge to binge and purge. I’m in-the-moment, on-the-edge, over-the-top and under-the-radar. A high-concept, low-profile, medium-range ballistic missionary. A street-wise smart bomb. A top-gun bottom feeder. I wear power ties, I tell power lies, I take power naps and run victory laps. I’m a totally ongoing big-foot, slam-dunk, rainmaker with a pro-active outreach. A raging workaholic. A working rageaholic. Out of rehab and in denial!

I’ve got a personal trainer, a personal shopper, a personal assistant and a personal agenda. You can’t shut me up. You can’t dumb me down because I’m tireless and I’m wireless, I’m an alpha male on beta-blockers.

I’m a non-believer and an over-achiever, laid-back but fashion-forward. Up-front, down-home, low-rent, high-maintenance. Super-sized, long-lasting, high-definition, fast-acting, oven-ready and built-to-last! I’m a hands-on, foot-loose, knee-jerk head case pretty maturely post-traumatic and I’ve got a love-child that sends me hate mail.

But, I’m feeling, I’m caring, I’m healing, I’m sharing-- a supportive, bonding, nurturing primary care-giver. My output is down, but my income is up. I took a short position on the long bond and my revenue stream has its own cash-flow. I read junk mail, I eat junk food, I buy junk bonds and I watch trash sports! I’m gender specific, capital intensive, user-friendly and lactose intolerant.

I like rough sex. I like tough love. I use the “F” word in my emails and the software on my hard-drive is hardcore--no soft porn.

I bought a microwave at a mini-mall; I bought a mini-van at a mega-store. I eat fast-food in the slow lane. I’m toll-free, bite-sized, ready-to-wear and I come in all sizes. A fully-equipped, factory-authorized, hospital-tested, clinically-proven, scientifically- formulated medical miracle. I’ve been pre-wash, pre-cooked, pre-heated, pre-screened, pre-approved, pre-packaged, post-dated, freeze-dried, double-wrapped, vacuum-packed and, I have an unlimited broadband capacity.

I’m a rude dude, but I’m the real deal. Lean and mean! Cocked, locked and ready-to-rock. Rough, tough and hard to bluff. I take it slow, I go with the flow, I ride with the tide. I’ve got glide in my stride. Drivin and movin, sailin and spinin, jiving and groovin, wailin and winnin. I don’t snooze, so I don’t lose. I keep the pedal to the metal and the rubber on the road. I party hearty and lunch time is crunch time. I’m hangin in, there ain’t no doubt and I’m hangin tough, over and out!"

Well even if you already has posted a lot in here, officially welcome to the insaniquarium :kickass:. If you really find enjoyment in playing and composing then you basically have it all. Without fun what's the point in music (even if you play doom )?

Good to see more young people in here, the torch must pass to the next generation, we the oldsters ain't gonna be forever here.

Aye
I'm Jordan
I live in North Carolina, and go to a school dominated by shity music, it's hard being a banger there.
Born in 1992, same year as two of my favorite albums: Countdown to Extinction and Vulgar Display of Power.
I play guitar and I've played with a few cover bands at one of the more well known clubs around here.
Most of my time is well spent, listening to 98% metal 2% other stuff.
Very into the classic metal, Slayer Metallica Megadeath the list goes on.
I'm a fan of Exodus's new stuff more so than their older work.
The local metal scene around charlotte has some bands that have the potential to go places, my favorite of the area, Final Curse, is goin on tour in July.

I don't really know when i started listening to metal alot but i grew up on hard rock, and within the past 3.5 years became an addict to heavy metal.

I play a jackson randy rhoads 3, with varying degrees of success and write songs mostly in the style of maiden with some variations.

i could go on but i would bore you.

oh and i play rugby the most hardcore ass sport ever.
ps. i think i may have invented the full body headbang, which involves hanging off the barricade/ stage, planting your feet on it so your completely off the ground and swinging your body to the beat

Welcome to the forum AHJ, hope you like the place and stay and post hard. Just please take a moment to review the rules in the sticky threads section and it's always great to have young blood and another musician in here.

P.S. Rugby rules!

hell im pretty much the same age and i agree with the school part lol

hmm, I guess it hadn't occured to me yet to post on the introduction thing in here, I guess I just kind of see UM as more of a one big collective than it is. :p

Anyway,...

the name is Jake, I am vocals, guitars, and lyrics for the band in the signature (my band :p), and besides that I pretty much do whatever work is around to try and make ends meet. You are encouraged to listen to and enjoy the music we have up. I have a pretty warped and/or different view of almost anything you can name and have a piled up history of various disappointments and crazy things playing hell with my self esteem and general sanity. :p The thing I would like most in the world is to have a wife but TBH they just don't have what I want and need, and if they do then there's a weird side effect, like they turn out to be pathological liars, hate God, or et al. Give and take, give and take. I live in Florida (USA, the state pointing at Cuba) and mostly like to spend my time outdoors doing photography if I can afford the gas to get where I wanna go. Favorite metal and hard rock bands: Labyrinth, Running Wild, Rage, Grave Digger, Queensrÿche, Rhapsody, Praying Mantis, Rainbow, The Chasm, Darkseed, Zero Hour, Tourniquet, maudlin of the Well, Falconer, Gamma Ray, Fates Warning, Stormwitch, Nightwish, Live, Keldian, Millenium, Savatage (Criss era), Pagan's Mind, and so on.

Some pictures.

Those are neat pics. As for wives you are young, wait until you have my age and then you can have that cynical view

Edit: Just noticed the guy next to me in the first pic looks really constipaded haha

Geeze, is that really you?! You're like a spitting image of Mustaine!

Also, wasn't aware there were many thrash (or metal) bands from Israel. Fucking cool!

Hi friends

I am Hannah, and I live in SoCal. I am the only female metalhead at my school. (It's a small school) I am sixteen years old, and I am called a poser having only been to one metal concert. (I'm working on it) I also prefer being called a metal newbie, as i am still working my way through the classics. My favorite food is California Rolls and i regularly eat ice cream for breakfast.

Stay metal friends :kickass:

Welcome Hannah, and don't worry, living in SoCal you will attend more concerts in a month that I have done in my whole life.

Great to see young blood coming here to look for the old school, the one that will never die.

Keep posting.

Greetings,

I'm Evan, 14 years old, I live in montreal. I'm from the land of Quebec, Canada. I'm a composer, guitarist, bassist, and have recently gotten into singing. It's hard to tell you what my favorite band is because it's changing constantly, but I guess I'll say Iron Maiden because they are my biggest influence since Jimi Hendrix.

This is the only photo of me I have now
