There was someone in my Spanish class who liked vampires. She had a different vampire book every day. I told her to read about something cool like Dragons.

It was. There was a band led by a vampire called "Vampire Turned Rocker" and they played a massive concert in the desert and vampires attacked and then some badass vampire queen showed up.

It's based on the book by Anne Rice... but they ruined it. Can't say I liked her books much either to be honest.

All vampire moves are shit. They just don't have enough movies about werewolves out there, which pisses me off.

Speaking of Warewolves: American Warewolf in London. I nearly split my sides laughing at that.

I saw this movie called Dracula 2000. It made me laugh because Dracula acted more like a runway model than a powerful ancient vampire. And the protagonist was a short British guy who got his ass severely kicked in every scene.

I hear you (if you do mean that early 90's version). I really dig that one. Otherwise Im not much of a vampire guy. Allthough in my early teens I found the Subspecies movies good for some reason

My favorite vampire movie is the original Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie (doesn't have much competition, only Queen of the Damned). It was fun and campy.

I wish someone would make a good serious vampire movie that wasn't absurdly goth.
