So I didn't notice this until today, Jeff Carter played just over 8 minutes and had a hat trick. Obviously it was against Austria, but still, to play that amount of ice time and do that is good news for Canada.

Yeah, the brackets are kind of weird, the top teams advance to the quarterfinals and then to fill out the brackets there's like a second chance game with the winner making it to the quarter finals.

Finland had a pretty weak roster even with their top 4 centers. Now without them I don't think they stand a chance against Canada.

So... Doughty has been the difference for Canada in this tournament wow. Now things are going to be tougher, they need to get scoring help from the big boys like Crosby, Perry, Toews. If they want to win this tournament, but although Price has been solid in the 2 games he's played.
