Indeed. How can you not give a 10 for the friggin best song of the year? It would mean much about the past year. A year without any significant or impressive releases, which is just impossible unless you're a nitpicky fvcker.

I don’t agree with your point Espada. A song that I rate 9/10 is significant and impressive and is way, way above average.

Sounds stupid to me, best to just leave it as is. If everybody gives their own song a 10/10 (they won't) then every song remains on an even playing field at the mercy of other people's ratings.

I guess it was a stupid question to ask, but what I meant to get at was that people who aren't bitter, critical, hateful ravens like you, are probably going to give their favorite song of the year a 10/10.

(Not sure if I'm in that category or not, it's an edge case... My rating will probably end up relative to how good everything else in the mixtape is)

Tbh people that give songs 0s that are at least on topic is the original reason it was brought up. A random zero for some autistic reason will kill any song’s chance to win and is a much better way to bump your song up than just giving it a 10.

i’m not sure i’m gonna be picking my ‘song of the year’, tempted to go for something i think nobody else has heard. i guess i could do both if we follow krow’s suggestion of doing multiple 2018 mixtapes though (which i think would be fun)

0's are pretty rare, after it was constantly pointed out to certain retards that a song being on theme should earn it at least 1 point alone.
