I would like to know what was used for the bass as far as what kind of bass, preamp etc.
I have been trying to get a bass tone like that forever and can't even come close.

Thanks for the reply dude. So you just took the DI from the firebass head and thats the tone on the record eh? did you also take a straight DI from the bass only?

Just got this album and I like it.
Of note, IMO the snare does not sound so much like the distinct Sneap trademark snare I was expecting, seems to have a different vibe. Still sounds great!

For the snare...Is natural with a little bit of andy sample.The snare was a brass Black Panthers 6 1/2 .The preamp was a vintech 473+api eq.

Honestly prolly one of my favorte guitar sounds ever. The jsx is really a force to be reckoned with , I really need to get up on one.

Andy has said that listeners perspective just sounds 'right' to him, but if the drummer wants it from his perspective, he'll just mix it from listeners and swap it at the end.
