yes sir. I agree. I only keep the finnish pop-music, as mentioned beforehand, it doesn´t have any negative side-effects.

Cool you get to see Hypocrisy. I saw them just once, and they were better than Dimmu Borgir actually, which headlined. Though DB were pretty great aswell.

@hyena: prompted by your comment on the phone the other day, i saw dogsville. highly disturbing. i identified pretty soon with grace, and indeed i was right, since her final moral realisation came to me like so much welcome daylight through stormy skies. aside from the actual worth of the movie (i somehow feel what i failed to understand the first time around won't be there anymore if i see it again, and this is just bad), i must say it does hold some merit if only for the powerful vision of ethics it entails, and how failing, disgustingly rotten can they turn out to be. it leads you almost unwillingly to mistrust and then hate tom, and of course i heard myself speak all the time through the dialogue in the car. yes: people are easily justified because they can't help themselves. and yet, what condemns them is that, at their place, *i* wouldn't be able to justify myself. i loved that. and the killing. i also wish i had seen this movie with someone, instead of sitting alone in front of my pc for the best part of the afternoon.

@rahve: the problem of mankind is that we are not able to receive, indeed. all my life passes in front of my eyes thinking about last thursday, at lunchtime, when mr. r was explaining to someone less quickwitted than us p) how the verb receive corresponds to both ricevere and accogliere in italian - for you bunch of foreigners, the first is "take something that is given" quite literally, the second has a nuance of welcoming and becoming one that rahvin, being the pro translator, will be able to explain better than i. but alas, as we just witnessed, understanding the concept is one thing, and... erm... understanding the concept is another altogether.

i'm listening to a very moving song by bjork, called all is full of love. at some point of my life, i stopped believing that the line you'll be taken care of refers to the intention of showing deep, selfless affection - it now sounds more like "i'll send someone to shoot you".

i'm feeling a little better today. last night some online communication cheered me up, and today i'm gonna see a couple of friends (the ever-present alfred and the girl i already mentioned last week) in close succession, which makes me feel like everything is slightly less boring than usual. i got three whole hours of sleep last night. certainly something terrible is about to happen.
