Sounds good man, vocals are loud enough but is it me, or are they all falling behind the beat?

Yeah, there is some timing issue that I'll have to look into. Don't know yet what the culprit is, as I did basically no editing to the lead vox. But yeah, need to fix that...
But since the deadline is going to be moved, I won't have to sweat it. Gonna work the whole weekend.

I would also say, as a matter of personal taste, the vox could also be a bit wetter ... maybe just some extra delay or something

Haha yeah, I was constantly rocking the knobs on the digital and band delay (using both) back and forth. The thing is, if it's over-done, it gets a bit too "phasey" with the backing vox. But I might add some back in.

I know we had some issues with Rainbow, retracking/mixing the whole thing by Monday would've been brutal.. So atleast we have some breathing room there..
I wish Niji would hurry up and send me something back.. (it's been like a month!)

Ok guys, had a lot of work very important for my actual career and money issues so I wasn't into music production in my head during the last weeks.
Now I'm back, I wanted to ask you : how much time do we have more or less until a final deadline, or maybe you don't know at all ? Cause I wanted to re-work on my mix of Heaven and Hell since Mago accepted a month ago to re-amp my DI's in his cool heavy-ish guitar FX chain and a few little things.

Hey Mat, for now there is no deadline and we've decided to keep it loose so as to not pressure the mixers into delivering "incomplete" or mediocre mixes, so take your time with it, I'll be checking any bumps on the thread to hear any more preliminary mixes

Found the tracks Jevil uploaded for "Kill The King" and gave it a try. Although there was something weird with the drums they don't line up well and theres seems to be apart missing at the end. Also the keys and vocals didn't start where the other tracks started, same with the solos. Anyway, here's my go at it, without vocals though, need to get them in the right place first.

Shouldn't we wrap this up soon? I'm betting most of the songs are more or less finished by now anyway.

How to release it? I don't think we're going to get that permission, so there's no real reason to wait for that.

yeah it seems we aren't getting the permission, we'll have to think of a way to get this out, at least in an "informal" way if you get what I mean. Lots of songs are near finished, we should probably re-set a deadline while we finish the artwork and ""legal"" issues, cause people got lazy when the deadline was called off. It will be released under the moniker "backstage metal" because we cannot associate it with Andy's name as he is not involved in any way.
So guys, any ideas on how we should release this? and for a deadline? I'm thinking a Christmas release, as in make a deadline by the end of November so we can have it all done before christmas?
About "mastering", I'm thinkin maybe everyone should do their own mastering chains without getting it too loud/squashed, and one kind person could just do the simple task of normalizing all the tracks to a similar average volume, cause putting the load of mastering all the songs to one person sounds a bit complicated, it would be easier this way I think.
