I have some old (analog) synths that are itching to be used.

The only thing now is to find the time! It won't take us but a day or so (I hope), but we're just about to do "a little" acoustic treatment here..

excellent! Carlos is the rhythm guitarist for children and Jevil for Stand up and shout, it will be their job to provide your drummer with a scratch track to record the drums to. For the keyboards, you could easily find a guitar pro tab on the web to help you learn the songs you would like to do, I like the idea of having real analog synths on some tracks, just make your choice/choices of songs!

Now that vespiz called the drums for his studio partner to record, we are ready to start! We're gonna need Carlos to at least do a scratch for the rhythms so the drummer can record the drum track and everyone else can go on from there. I will now make the thread for that song.

P.S. I too am super stoked, we must all do our best for this to turn out great!
 
If someone provides drum track for the "Rainbow In The Dark", I can lay down the guitar tracks almost right away..
Although bass tracks for the song could be recorded first and then sent to me as full package.
 
nah dude if you have guitar pro (which it seems you dont) it has a keyboard view and a standard notation view too, so you could use whichever is best for you. You could try tuxguitar that supposedly is like a free version of Guitar pro, I haven't used it though

Could you do a little bit more work on the drums? It sounds really, really programmed to me.

I agree with Jess, the song is really well done, but the drums are way too fake, it would be great if you had the kindness of working those drums a bit more to make it sound better?
 
I'm at the moment doing something i wanted to do for a long time : naming the whole 128 midi notes to map them with S2.0 NY Avatar kit in reaper, and then I'll start taking the whole advantage of the NY Avatar kit (I have no extension) to make it as humanised as possible, augmented with Slate's Trigger of course :)

OK just to recap, I spoke with Antto (drummer) and we'll do the drums for Children of the Sea, Stand up and Shout and Rainbow in the Dark.
There's enough work in these three, but there could be a chance to do more if needed.
 
ok I'll add Antto up to Rainbow in the Dark as well then, I think it's best if he tries to focus on those three songs , if he is to accept more songs it would be better to do so after these three have been finished. Since Antto is not in the forum (he could be if he wanted to, at least only for this project) you can go to the thread on children of the sea to have updates on the song, latest update is Carlos (Skinny viking) will have a scratch guitar track done tommorrow hopefully, that track will be given to Antto to record the final drums to which everyone else will work upon
