The Official Movie Thread

I just got back from watching Dirty Grandpa, I can't see how this film got nothing but zero star reviews, bunch of stuck up fuckwits. I could tell De Niro had a ball with this film.

the only time i've ever seen zac efron was when nicole kidman urinated on him in THE PAPERBOY.

it's online (i dled a torrent), idk where it's been screened in cinemas though. i liked it way more than i expected. despite the corpse paint on the cover, the song it worships most of all is 'victim of changes', if that encourages any of you to watch it. some of you may argue it stereotypes too much, but i'd be interested to hear your thoughts in any case.

ryan reynolds talks to his dog and cat and they talk back and tell him to do macabre things and he does macabre things and the tone is really weird and off and the whole thing is amazingly empty and harrowing. cult classic in the making, it's gotta be.

Had a feeling you'd like that. Odd coincidence though, I've seen several different people say both the cat and dog told him to do bad things. I could swear I never heard the dog suggest he do something wrong.

Also, wondered if his goofy work uniforms were actually pink...

haha yeah the dog is actually his good conscience, i just couldn't be bothered getting that specific. i don't even know how much i 'liked' this exactly (or at least not in the way i like comparable stuff like PUNCH DRUNK LOVE and OBSERVE & REPORT), but i'll never forget it.

as a nerd i'm excited too, as a movie lover i'm expecting them all to be samey forgettable mass-produced shite, but we'll see. DR. STRANGE is directed by the guy who did SINISTER, but that's also the guy who did that awful remake of THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL, so idk what to think.

image.jpeg image.jpeg Despite a hectic weekend I watched these, despite being fairly annoying( too many Cannibal Corpse and Trivium references to be taken seriously as a Metal film) Deathgasm is quite entertaining at times, more for the special effects than anything.
Frankenstein Vs The Mummy on the other hand I loved, my favourite new monster flick easily.

Every time i see someone mention that Deathgasm film it reminds me of a bizarre splatter porno I came across years ago, Goregasm.

It has lots of nudity with ugly cunts, a cop fucking a doughnut, a transsexual rapist killing people with a bladed strap on.... And a Jason like killer with a dildo strapped to his face .
