ive seen it before and remember really liking it, didn't get a chance to watch it again earlier though. My aunt and her kids stopped by right when i popped it in.
One I completely forgot to rewatch for the '88 round, might have made the cut too.
Edit: Cool film but the poster is such misleading bullshit, Bronson is a journalist investigating a blood feud between two Mormon families, he doesn't shoot a single person iirc. I thought I'd seen this before, but none of it seemed familiar to me.
That quote on the cover is so random. "Old school crime pic"? Hardly. "Not for the squeamish" makes it sound like it's a blood and guts movie when it's anything but.
Squeamish isn't just about blood and guts though, it's about being uncomfortable, disgusted, sick, or anything of the like. Squeamish could apply to a movie about altar boys and priests as much as it could about a horror movie.
I accept that, but having seen the movie I still don't there's much that would bother a squeamish person. It's just a strange choice of words to sell a movie that I would describe more as 'brooding'.
Yeah I agree, so far this definitely isn't a detective film on the more squeamish side of things, like Se7en for example. This is definitely more brooding.
