The thread where you talk about non-metal music you like.

Sergeant Gumbles: I like that song Misirlou but never knew the type of music that was. Haven't listened to the other videos but will soon. Thanks!

Crimsonfloyd: I forgot to give you a heads up on the lameness of that video, ha.

Anyone else interested in movie scores or soundtracks from movies?

Some notable names Hans Zimmer, Danny Elfman, Clint Mansell, John Williams etc.

I really like the soundtrack for the movie Stoker, here's the ending song that Clint Mansell used by Emily Wells

Anyone else listen music when going to sleep? I've been listening to Velvet Cacoon's ambient tracks for the past few months and I'm starting to have lucid dreams-which I've never had before-where I explore these strange geometric landscapes. Gonna explore some other dark ambient in the near future.

Can anyone (crimsonfloyd, Funerary Doom maybe) recommend some Bossa Nova artists to me that have that lazy, dreamy, surreal atmosphere goin on?

I've noticed that the music of Brazil is amazing on snowy expeditions but because of the weather I never get to capture the names of the artists that my local station plays.

I unfortunately don't know too much about jazz, especially Bossa Nova. Crimsonfloyd may be able to help you out better than I can. The only song I can think of that might be somewhat (but not at all really) what you're looking for is an old Portuguese song, which isn't even Bossa Nova just dreamy:

But this was no help, haha. My bad :[
