The thread where you talk about non-metal music you like.

Soon I discovered that this rock thing was true
Jerry Lee Lewis was the Devil
Jesus was an architect previous to his career as a prophet
All of a sudden, I found myself in love with the world
So there was only one thing that I could do
Was ding a ding dang my dang a long ling long

On an orchestral note, this makes me BAWL every time at 1:25. Nothing more poignantly sad and beautiful as the New York Philharmonic playing "Arirang" in Pyongyang. Really brings to light just how sad it is that Korea was ripped in two. ("Arirang" is the quintessential folk song of both North and South Korea)

God, this is one of the best Americana folk albums ever recorded. Absolutely gorgeous.

"My uncle's at the evening table,
Makes his living running hot cars
Slips me a hundred dollar bill,
Says 'Charlie, you best remember who your friends are...'"

And one of my favorite folk songs ever, "Youngstown:"

"My daddy worked the furnaces,
Kept 'em hotter than hell
I come home from 'Nam, worked my way to scarfer,
A job that'd suit that devil as well.
That taconite, coke and limestone
Fed my children and made my pay,
Them smokestacks reaching like the arms of God
Into a beautiful sky of soot and clay."

the 2nd Faithless clip was pretty nice :]
