The thread where you talk about non-metal music you like.

Lately i've really been into old Moody Blues. Songs like: Legend of a Mind, Voices in the Sky, Lovely To See You, Never Comes The Day, Are You Sitting Comfortably. All timeless.

They've probably been mentioned in this thread already, but I fucking love Throbbing Gristle. Proper tewaked-out avantgarde industrial with a little bit of post-punk mixed in.

thanks for mentioning this! Ive seen the movie, but never knew he did the Soundtrack.

Incredible.

No problem! Great movie, and great soundtrack; he wrote the screenplay too.

Cave also composed the soundtrack to the film The Road, which was also directed by John Hillcoat. Unfortunately, it doesn't live up to the cold, minimalistic vivacity of The Proposition. Still, it's a great movie.

I've been listening to Rainbow, checking out Lucifer's Friend as well.

Lucifer's Friend are one of those bands that just do one album per style/sound, but do a load of great albums:

Does anyone remember 2 Unlimited? Prompted by a bit of nostalgia, I felt like youtubing some of their videos. When I was a kid I thought they were pretty awesome, so 90s! :p

She makes it sweeter than the sun
I get too tired, I come undone
I bow my head to confess
The temple walls are made of flesh

Runs up my arms 'til I must scratch
Itches the skin right off my back
I heal your wounds, I set you free
I'm Jesus Christ on ecstasy...

HOW DOES IT FEEL??
(suck, suck, suck...)

Broken is by far my favorite Nine Inch Nails album. I wish it wasn't so short because it's so good.
