The thread where you talk about non-metal music you like.

I like "Voyage 34: The Complete Trip."

I'm having a bit of a quarter life crisis and returning to all the corny punk-ska-psychobilly crap I liked back in the day. Like TIGER ARMY. I wish they would make whole albums of just their "country" songs, because that stuff is exactly 100% up my alley.

Meat Puppets used to do stuff like this sometimes:

And of course, the phenomenal "Lake of Fire" (not rockabilly, but still awesome):

EDIT: and for good measure (best song Nirvana ever performed, and they didn't write it):

Yeah, they covered both "Lake of Fire" and "Plateau." Those are really the only two songs they ever played that I enjoyed; but Meat Puppets wrote both of them.

WORD! I can't wait to watch that when I'm off work.

Jamiroquai are excellent but I find all their songs blend together in one way or another. Big fat crush on Jay Kay.

edit: I like Nirvana all the time but kind of forgot about them for a while. My favorite songs of theirs are "Sliver" and "Drain You."

^^ Yeah they are pretty damn cool i only just discovered this one song,i'm a sucker for the odd dance anthem,i'll check that song you posted out when i get back to my place,on my parents shitty pc atm and it's fucking slow.

Crystal Castles are cool, like chiptunes-lite for people who don't like FULL ON chiptunes like Calis or Usk or Firebrand Boy (I kinda like that stuff).

Another good, somewhat similar act is Trash80.

It's not even a song, it's just them fucking about with shit in the studio whilst tripping. And yeah I agree it's annoying.
