Listening to the while sober is great, but weed and black metal in general mix well. I was high when I finally "got" black metal. I think I would have eventually but it certainly speeded up the process.

I did enough reading today. So my friend was down in Portland all day for some reason and he hasn't gotten back yet. So another friend and I are going to watch a movie here. Probably the first Lord of the Rings, if we can find someone who has a copy of the extended edition.

Just finished watching the first half of The Fellowship of the Ring. It was pretty awesome, as I expected. It helped watching it with my LoTR-nerd friend, who helped explain a few things.

Now some of these Summoning lyrics/song titles will make sense to me.
