Reading about voodoo. Yesterday on animal planet they said that pufferfish venom could apparently be used to raise the dead. There was a man in Haiti who was supposedly brought back from the dead and used as a slave.

Why would you go to the trouble of raising someone from the dead when you could just buy another slave?

Because raising the dead is free. Apparently it takes some mixture of pufferfish venom with other stuff.
