I got a blast of nostalgia when I got home from class. Back in high school, a friend and I put together a couple of songs that incorporated elements of slam and black metal, and he just discovered it found its way onto a slam compilation on Youtube.

I've gotten pre-approved for a credit card three times in the past month but I've turned it down every time.

Thing is... Credit is pretty much necessary in America unless you plan to live and die in a commune. Or supercede local drug lords and live a cash life.

Stick to one credit card and don't get in trouble with it and you'll be fine.

Second thing is, this word doesn't actually mean anything. You turned up in a database when you changed your address and the creditor sends out mail to a poorly selected sample of those addresses. Capital One is the most guilty of this offense.

You would still have to pass a credit check if you started using that credit card.

Ah. Oh well. I've got good credit from being on time with all my bills so if I were to get one, I am sure I would pass. I'm still at the stage though where I don't need one so I'm gonna avoid getting one as long as I can.
