The "What Are You Doing This Moment" Thread

I've actually installed Nuendo and some extra plugins like EzDrummer and Drumkit From Hell, that has been made by Tomas Haake (Meshuggah drummer). And that stuff is pretty interesting and useful, I must say. It's been used for programming drums for Catch 33.
Audio production in general is pretty ridiculous in the digital age.

Just got home from work. Tedious day at work, imo

I've been using leafdrums because it's simple and easy to use. Mixing is with GarageBand.

:p You agreed to it too. I think you thought I was more attached to it than I was.

We came up with that name before our central lyrical theme was established, and our Latin skills hadn't advanced.

Ah I see. I gave up on leaf drums the day I tried it. Didn't seem as sophisticated as Drumkit From Hell or NS7 kit. These days I just do real drums, though.

I'm currently embarrassingly amused by my new widescreen monitor.
Nice. How big, and what brand?
I'll be using it for crash cymbals and fills, plus any other synth effects to spice things up. As for any keyboards, I have a real life pipe organ in my garage.

Cool. Do you ever record the organ?
I used to help people out with drums sometimes in their one-man bands. Let me know if you're interested or anything.

Dell, 19" I think. I had nothing to do with the purchase. It was just an emergency replacement since our last monitor just crapped out a couple days ago and we were using a 13" crt from last century or some shit.

I just got back from an epic fireworks display. If I didn't know better, I would think that the grounds crew didn't realize that they only had 30 seconds left so they just took a match to everything they had left. Holy fuck, was that ridiculous. And we were right under them too, complete with a shower of ash.
