Worst metal albums of all time

At first, it was cool, but now, after actually saying it out loud to myself, it has a REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY bad ring to it.

Are you defending metal or attacking Rhapsody?
trying to convince people that nu-metal isn't metal. the "nu" implies that it is newer and different than metal. so how can you classify to different things as the same? this confusing isn't made in other places. new england isn't england, new south wales is defineately nothing like south wales, and like i said, you'd never call new coke, "coke."

Metallica - Metallica
Metallica - Load
Metallica - Reload
Metallica - St. Anger
Slayer - God Hates Us All
Shadows Fall - Somber Eyes To The Sky
Morbid Angel - Abominations Of Desolation (Yes, I think it's crap)
Any Metalcore album ever
Megadeth - The System Has Failed (Although I love all of their other albums)
LAST BUT NOT LEAST: Any Emperor album imo

Hmm... that's ten! I win.

Are you kidding me? TSHF is an awesome album!! There is Tears in a Vial and Die Dead Enough, but Blackmail the Universe, Kick The Chair, Back In The Day and My Kingdom more than make up for that.

My 10 or so personal worst in no order:

Fear Factory - Transgression

Royal Hunt - Eyewitness

Beyond Twilight - The Devil's Hall Of Fame

the entire Dragonforce catalog.

Joe Stump - Rapid Fire Rondo

Dream Theater - Octavarium

Yngwie Malmsteen - The War To End All Wars

Stratovarius - Popkiller

Stratovarius - Stratovarius

Avian - Through The Depths Of Time

not that I don't like Jorn, because I very much like Jorn.

But it's like I'd leave it on for a little, and the stuff would just sound really cheesy and bland after a little bit.

maybe I haven't spent enough time with it, musically I liked what little I heard from the album Kelly was singning on...

Also forgot St.Anger, silly me, that's the like the mandatory album on any of these lists.

You have to be fucking kidding.

i second that.. wtf? i love that album, but well thats just me..

i cant think of 10 whole atrocious albums off the top of my head, but its pretty much a consensus that all more recent metallica albums suck sweaty hairy ballsac, but I also must list DT's TOT and Octavarium, and also a BIG stand out for me would have to be Black Sabbath's Forbidden.. it doesnt get much worse than that..

its weird that you can like Section X and not Dev's hall of fame.....lets just replace it with StAnger and pretend this never happened ;)

Never said I liked it, I just thought the music in the video clips of the sessions sounded alright.

Forbidden was awesome...especially that song with Ice T....i mean i think Ice should have done the whole album....he owned Tony Martin

 - i wish Ice T HAD done the whole album, so that poor Tony's name didnt have to get trampled through the mud for it like that..

Imo, if there's one bad song on the album, then the whole album is ruined. Yeah, I know it sounds limited, but there's still a lot of albums that I like.

(P.S. I like Tears In A Vial, but the song I really hated was Truth Be Told. The rest of the album is pretty much average for me.)

To Zach, about Immortal.......... :erk:

I like that album because of Molto Arpeggiosso and Instru-Mental Institution.

Facing the Animal is an utterly terrible album, though.
