The thread where you talk about non-metal music you like.

Any of you fucks got some more goth rock/post-punk recs?

Here you go neph. Hope you like some of these because it took a lot of fucking effort to get all these links on an iPad. Also, if you're not totally secure in your masculinity, I wouldn't watch some of the videos. (Seems a lot of people here aren't)

I'm liking Puscifer more than Tool these days and I don't know why coz I love Tool, just had to get that off my chest and as Tool and Puscifer aren't strictly Metal I can get away with it here can't I? Lol

Been listening to alot of Midlake lately, loving 'The Trials of Van Occupanther'. Its like a story, very pleasing to know that newer bands are using the same methods of making an album draw u into a tale that lyrically and musically flows. Reminds me of pink floyds 'the Wall' in that respect. If u like folk / classic/ rock, i strongly recomend any of Midlakes works :)

Been hitting a western and psychobilly phase lately, dig these dudes and especially this intrumental:

Post rock.

:kickass:

I've been a fan of Godspeed! You Black Emperor for years now but I never got into the genre itself until the last couple of months.

This should probably go in a "dance" thread or whatever. But a friend posted this video, and so I went on a splurge of watching Circassian folk dances that I could find on YouTube from Georgia, Armenia basically all over the Caucasus region. The music is really beautiful and the costumes are crazy elaborate. But most importantly, the footwork is just incredible: knee spins, dancing on tip toes, really cool formations. This is probably not the place to share something like this, but whatever:
