Bones tend not to hurt, rather the muscles and tendons. I could be wrong.

I'm pretty sure you're right, I never thought bones to have any nerve endings. Just like your brain doesn't actually hurt when you have a headache.
 
Just got back from my friends house. We played Guitar Hero 3, played a pathetic game with some sort of fruity liquor, and watched a bit of Cruel Intentions (weird movie.) Then my friend, who newly acquired his liscense, drove me home to the soothing sounds of Vanilla Ice. I thought I was going to die.
 
Right, because there aren't any nerves in the brain...

Well that's not quite what I meant. I gathered from something (can't remember what) a while ago that if you're awake during brain surgery, you won't feel anything.
