Congratulations, Krow.

That's quite a collection. Been enjoying Basil Haydens and Four Roses.

I’ve never had Basil Hayden’s specifically, but fun fact “Old Grand Dad” IS Basil Hayden and uses the same mash bill and all of that. Four Roses is great. Especially the small batch and single barrel. The regular tastes good but is a little thin for bourbon for me.

Damn I lost more weight than I realised over this lockdown period. Was digging through some old boxes and came across some shirts from the pre-2010's that didn't fit me anymore, found a County Medical Examiners shirt I bought back in 2007 when their second album dropped and it fits me and not uncomfortably either.

I knew I'd lost some weight because some of my shorts and pants fall down now but not to the point where I can wear shirts I had before I was even 20 years old.

I lost a few kgs during the main lockdown here due to lack of takeaways, but I've pretty much gained it back now. I eat like a pig and stay skinny because my overactive immune system/chronic allergies burn it all up.

"The First Sign of Madness" couldn't have been a more apt title for your debut album.

In hindsight, it all sums up the 1st phase of my life fairly well. Acting insane at times as a reaction or coping mechanism for not fitting in. Your post helped me realise I needed a more mind-oriented title for the next album. Lyrics are getting more serious, covering nature/natural disasters and a post-traumatic stress incident etc. so now I'm thinking of calling it Cataclysmic Meltdown. Not that my 2nd phase is downwards - more of a melt upwards to a better existence.

Just got back from holding a screening with my student film club. (Tonight's film was The Florida Project.) So I'm sitting there in the lobby ushering people into the theatre when the leader of Sweden's leftist party randomly walks into this local independent cinema and sits down in the lobby and chats with some woman. So all the while I'm taking attendance for my student film club one of the most prominent figures in Swedish politics is just sitting 5m away from me. Weirded me the hell out.

Still working for the tree company. They are taking me from my normal truck to go work with herbicide. For a while I'll be training with someone, I gotta study a book and then go take a test. After I pass it I'll get a raise and a license for the herbicide.

Outside of work, as of late, I've been getting really into the Monster Hunter games. Absolutely fantastic and sometimes frustrating with those big ass monsters.

My car's electric power steering started to lock up and started flashing on my dash (says power steering in all caps). So my guess is something is loose or I need to replace the motor.

Im scrapping it and saving up for a Lincoln my friend is selling. Not for much though, its more or less a birthday gift.

Either the starter or something is dead in it so I'm gonna get it replaced.

So next week they are going to have me do a driving course with one of the split dump trucks. If I do well with it, they will get me a MedCard and I'll be driving trucks. Which comes with a raise.
