I just got awesome news in the mail. When I bought my new speakers/monitors at Guitar Center, I was apparently participating in some special weekend promotion that I wasn't aware of. I got a $75 gift card "as promised" (lmao) as part of the promotion

What a deal. I already got a discount on the speakers, and then I get unexpected, free money in the mail.

What does driving, and paying for my own shit have to do with anything? All a cellphone is needed for is for an emergency, or something else urgent, like directions for a place, etc. If we got rid of all phones but track phones and phones where you pay by the minute, then we would have less people talking on phone, causing accidents, or other things of that matter. I mean, I don't mind the simple functions, like storing numbers, etc. But there isn't a need for the phone to take pictures, surf the interwebz, etc.

I don't own a camera, and I don't want to spend all that money on a camera, so I spent an extra $30 on a phone that has a really nice camera feature. Also, I personally don't think there's anything wrong with having features. I agree that it's annoying when people bitch about the fact that their technology isn't the newest, latest version, but seriously, if you have the money and you want to spend it on something nice, I don't see what the problem is.
