Looking for a hotel near JFK airport for one night re: my trip home in a few weeks. Kind of want a *REALLY* nice one, but that's a bit wasteful to blow like $200 on a room for one night.

I just woke up, first good sleep in ages. I have Beherit's Engram, Bethlehem's Dark Metal and Nagelfar's Virus West on my playlist now. I've been slaving away on assignments and I've got 2 tests this week and 4 final semester exams in 2 weeks.
After that I'm gonna be going snowboarding with my girlfriend over east in Canberra for a week. Can't wait, it's gonna be awesome! It's going to be my second time I'll see snow in real life. And the first time was in Turkey about 12 years ago.

Haha there's no snow in Perth unfortunately and only in the mountains in the eastern states. Girlfriend hasn't seen snow before so she's really excited.

Aw that's exciting! I was with my Thai-Aussie friend from Sydney the first time she saw snow, girl took SO many pictures of the piddly flurries and snow squalls that count as "snow" in southern Japan.
I've seen snow every winter for my entire life and shoveled probably the equivalent of several tons of it. Fuck that.

Just got back from an awesome jam session with the band. Our guitar player has a new riff that could potentially turn into a great song. I'm very psyched; hopefully we'll be playing some shows in a month or so.
