Yes. I'm responsible for the pharmaceutical discussions lately. I've had a recent psychological/neurological implosion and went through a gauntlet of medications that all seem to have made things worse and I'm not quite sure whether things are improving.
Cognitive/meditation therapy starts Wednesday. Eight week program.

CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) works really well for a lot of people, best to you Zeph!
GREAT wedding yesterday, they had their first dance to the Talking Heads and the reception was in a barn and the food was all REALLY GOOD. Great music too. All the stuff that mattered was done excellently.

anti anxiety meds are intoxicating if you don't need them
prozac feels like crystal meth and most of the other ones feel like downer drugs
i've spent a lot of time doing therapy both ways
and for me, group therapy worked a hell of a lot better than one-on-one therapy

I also recently started CBT. I find it's helping already, although personal setbacks have made the last week pretty tough.
Went to see the Morbid Angel/Dark Funeral/Grave/VadimVon tour tonight. Turns out MA got stopped at the border, so DF were doing an hour and a half and Grave were doing 45-60 minutes. They also gave us $10 off the ticket. VadimVon were sloppy and played to a drum machine instead of a real drummer. They kinda sucked but for some reason I bought their CD for $5. Grave were fucking awesome. Unfortunately they only had shirts, no CDs, but I really fucking liked that set. Dark Funeral were kinda blah, not bad at all but after half an hour I was ready for something else.

Just got home from a fucking magnificent drunken day...
From the time I woke up I was helping my buddy with his proposal to his girlfriend, then photographing the proposal, to drinking massive amounts of alcohol in honor of their union...This is the first time Ive had the privilege of being a best man, and couldn't be happier about it.
