Xe already is a word. People are using it.

New words are always emerging, despite resistance from traditionalists/purists (a pointless endeavor in language). New media have already introduced a whole plethora of new words over the past half-century.

New words are never "invented" by a single person, they're absorbed and must be used collectively. "Xe" actually has a Wikipedia page dedicated to it; fuck, if it's on Wiktionary, it's already a word.

I don't accept that reasoning. If I were to get thousands of people to refer to themselves as "ahsdfasdfs", that would not make "asdfasdf" a real word.
