I dont know about making a living(although i know a few guys who certainly do). But whats wrong with making few hundred(even thousands in some case) dollars everytime you visit a drag strip? I dunno, maybe you dont know how to handle high performance vehicles, in which case i would suggest for you to steer clear of such thing as it would be super costly and you would definitely end up negative.

My original post was "no one cares how fast your car is" which I repeated later. I edited it because clearly one (and only one) person does care how fast your car is, and it's apparently an utmost test of manhood for you. A quite shallow one at that I will add.

I own a Civic too. I was never into cars other than the fact that I would like to learn to do basic maintenance and repairs on them myself.

I like the look of the old muscle cars but that's as far as my interest goes.
