Do you know what is wrong with him/have you taken him to the vet? Pets getting old really sucks. I used to have an old Jack Russel who went completely senile, was practically blind, and had a really hard time getting around. To get down a set of stairs he would just take one step and let himself tumble down. It was sad. And one day we found him dead in our pond (he drowned). In hindsight we should have put him down, but it's almost impossible to make that decision. Sorry you have to deal with that. I lost my last dog (Border Collie) at 5 years old (about 5 years ago) when he got hit by a car. Best dog ever, I still mourn to this day.

i took him to the vet last summer when i first noticed he didnt wanna get up and was walking funny and she said it's most likely degenerative myelopathy where basically his spinal cord slowly dies. She didnt take any x-rays though. I booked an appointment at the same vet on tuesday and another one at another spot a few days after that and hopefully its a slipped disc or something that can be repaired and he can live another few years. He's also lost most of his hearing but is otherwise normally a very happy and energetic dog, even for his senior age. It's so hard watching him like this.

And yea letting go of dogs is hard. Here is a pic of my boy when he was just a young pup along with my first dog who i had to say goodbye to at the young age of 7.

last few weeks have been pretty bad. My 12.5 year old dog/best friend has been getting worse. He is almost completely paralyzed in his hind legs and cant control his bowel movements most of the time. And he was doing good not too long ago. Seeing him like this is one of the most painful things ever.

I just evolved my shiny Gulbat into a Crobat, pretty lit. Just evolved Magmar too, probably won't bother with a shiny though because once I've beaten the game I'm moving on. Trying to basically play catch up with the series lmao.

Pokemon Go has ruined me; since shinies are so common (1/450 rate instead of the roughly 1/4000) Ive gotten addicted to shinies, theyre like crack for me.

Ive been SOS chaining in Pokemon Sun for a shiny Magby lol. Been going for a month now. The grind continues.

I'm off for a week for spring break. Work has been fucking insane. So much dumbass politics and brown nosing and people who think they're big shots... it's a city job. Like, if you don't produce numbers you're ass is grass. People don't have enough shit to do in their own personal life and come to work and create a bunch of drama. Heh. Well, I'll be around due to having some free time now. It feels good to not be surrounded by folks I don't believe to have any integrity, though, even if it were for a week.
