Speaking of which, I just calculated my tax return and am quite pleased with how much I'm getting back. Could have funded MDF easily if I were more proactive. Then again, my pops tells me I should never borrow against the future, and as somebody with little common sense, best to play it safe. That and I owe him (and, starting next year, the fed) tons of money so extravagant expenses are not very tactful right now.

I'm with you on that. Shred is awesome to watch and listen to live, but I'm not partial to listening to it on recording. Consequently, I'll be seeing Animals as Leaders and Meshuggah tomorrow night. A friend of mine got some tickets for free.
