The last anime I watched was Elfen Lied. I really liked how it explored misanthropy and the moral issues with genetically enhancing humans. My only problem with it was that it was too short. It could have gone way further into those themes, but it at least had closure.

I can understand that. The character development isn't particularly in-depth for anyone, and aside from the philosophy, it mainly has drama to offer.

I am currently feeling perplexed. I picked up Darkthrone's Circle the Wagons and on two tracks about half way through the listed track time they go silent. The cd keeps playing put there is no sound. I looked at the disc and there are two bands were it looks like the cd is missing info. Am I retarded or did I get a bad disc? Anyone else have this issue? I will upload a pic later if I get around to it.

I don't know if you guys in Amruca do it but you go to every pub in the neighborhood and have one beer in each. The result is that you're fucking dead in the end because there is a pub on every corner in this place.

That's called "barhopping", and it's fucking awesome.

Dark Souls is possibly the most overrated game of this generation not counting obvious shit fests like Call of Duty.

Call of Duty's fucking awesome, Zombies are fun as fuck.

Drama I don't mind. The majority of what I like to watch focuses on some drama plot point, but shallow characters typically are something I can't get past.

No way dude. The game is totally great. The calm, the oppressive atmosphere of the whole thing. I love the silence and the fact that no explanation is given for almost anything. It is just this massive evil world and everything wants you dead.Because of the focus required and the need to be constantly aware, it can be alternatively relaxing and almost zen like and insufferably frustrating. Classic game in my opinion.
