me too, but i'd bump math nerd up a few spots. Def one of the nerdiest ... not that there's anything wrong with being nerdy. Also, i've always wondered, what is the main difference between a nerd and a geek?

i always though tabletop RPG's and board-games were basically the same shit. ?

I don't know I've never played either lol, well i've played board games just not those kind. I always perceived warhammer to be nerdier than say D&D. Painting the little dolls and such.

Math is def pretty nerdy, but it's a fairly socially acceptable skill. Like you can get plenty of jobs if you're good at math. Being the most knowledgeable anime nerd isn't likely to help much lol.

I fit into most of those categories except anime and the boards games too. Hmm I'd say comics are a step above anime. Unless it's manga, that's a step below.

I think nerds actually know their shit, get into the finer details and understand things. Geeks are like fanboys/girls.

Metal nerds are far less nerdy than video game nerds.

It goes something like:

Metal nerds > classical music nerds > math nerds > video game nerds > card game nerds > anime nerds > tabletop rpg nerds > board game nerds (warhammer etc)

I was just poking fun at those fuckin nerds quoting The Simpsons. Where would they fall?

Needless to say, I probably shouldn't be going out when I have to work at 8am the next day. Haha I just strolled into work late, with a coffee, I'm the worst. Warhammer is more nerdy than most board games yet has more cool factor at the same time. It is most definitely not a "board game" though. It is a miniatures game. I do both board gaming and miniatures gaming, and I'd probably do a TTRPG also but don't have the time. Descent/Star Wars Imperial Assault are the 2 closest things I've done, but those are boardgame variants.

I don't see Warhammer as nerdy whatsoever. It's a strategical war game, brings to mind manly battles for conquest and honor. Let me put it this way, out of all the gamers I hang with, the alpha males play 40k. Just an observation.

Well, I do think Warhammer players are pretty fucking nerdy, there's a good dose of the fat/tall balding dresses like mother shops for him type, but at the same time there is what Carpe says.

Main thing for me is, like was said up there, nerdy as all fuck but the actual content isn't.

Back from karaoke after running it at the bar tonight.

I ended up belting out Victim of Changes and it was awesome. Realized I could hear two chicks singing along, singing the melodies flawlessly. When I turned around, it was two relatively hot (not even metal-looking) twins sitting at a table.

being attacked by a wizard hovering 100ft in the air over our camp.
dropped some cloud death thing on us, then dropped a fireball. was at -2 until we got healed. Sitting at 6hp right now.
Now were swarmed by tons of zombies and some wights. god damn!
