Explain. I posted something on my wall and someone started an argument with me. I kept it relatively civil but the post still got reported.

I need to use Facebook less anyway. Just something I've noticed over the course of the last few months.

Burner account may have been the wrong term to use but I definitely need to keep any potential Facebook shitposting separate from my real account or just lurk instead.

These days though, any conservative viewpoint on that site is seen as shitposting if it's reported.

Fairnuff. I'm definitely a fan of multiple Facebook accounts - been using two myself for years now. I like posting stupid shit on the internet, and I don't need my real name attached to it.

Anyway, you did come across as someone used to getting banned and finding workarounds. Also I haven't heard about many other conservatives being reported on Facebook, but the one I talk to the most has mostly conservative friends.

I have never used my full real name ever. My last name is common but even that I've changed because fuck that. I talk about drinking way too much as a teacher people may think I have a problem.

Also, depending on your group of friends it's best to keep it appropriate enough. I got family and stuff and they seriously ask, "yo who's that?" and stuff when there's some disagreement. I made a mistake (think it was like three years ago) and had one nazi "friend" (he even slept over my house once!) and he'd just go off over everything I said. I could talk real nonchalantly on whatever and he'd come out his mouth sideways. And I'm argumentative so I just couldn't have that.And when I say off I mean completely off even admitting to being a Nazi and all sorts of shit. He just had to go, tbh. im not unreasonable and don't think everyone should agree with my liberal ideals but i draw the line at blatant racist talk on my page because that shit is just disrespectful. Because his quiet ass was timid as fuck and super polite to me in person. So to go behind a screen and be disrespectful, nope.

Well I don't completely trust facebook's privacy settings because I find they sorta change with updates.

And yeah he was just not a good person. And I hate to simplify it to that, but it's true. Super inconsistent and just not very smart.

I prefer to go a few steps beyond standard privacy settings. All of this shit is permanent, and can be hacked at any time. There are companies out there dedicated to snooping on people and selling the info. And yeah, employers can make moronic judgments about people based on some shit they googled.

i once made a tongue in cheek facebook group telling this extremely vocal and annoying dude in my university class to shut the fuck up, which he himself found pretty funny, and some liberal types made a thread on the uni forums encouraging people to report me for bullying, and i got a ban warning and the group was deleted.

Its7:30 in the morning and my boyfriend has been up with crazy stomach pains. I thought it was just the stomach flu at first because it was stomach pains plus dirrahea but now he's still in pain n it should've subsided by now. So merry Christmas y'all I'll be at the ER today because you shouldn't have stomach pains for this long as it isn't normal.
