Drinking a Sam lager, listening to Metallica's new album (meh), and cooking a sirloin steak I bought for $5.30/lb (!) at an Amish market yesterday. The butcher was like 10 years old, I felt bad for him.

I'd say ReLoad, Death Magnetic, and St Anger are lesser at this point.

Gonna order a 5 string bass later. Just want something cheap for when I'm using my 7 string. Would primarily be used for metal. Will probably go for one of these two, UNLESS ONE OF YOU BUTTBANDITS HAS A BETTER SUGGESTION?

The Harley Benton look like a nicer quality bass and it's neck-through and longer scale so it should have superior tone and sustain. It all depends which one you like playing more in the end though.

Looking at WH40K's new 8th edition rules, so far undecided and there's still a lot to take in, but it already seems way better than 7th edition.

hot take: literally every song on the first half of LOAD is better than about 50% of songs on the black album. edit: k i might be exaggerating but definitely better than painful pseudo-thrash tripe like 'the struggle within' and 'holier than thou' at least.
