So today is "Maine Day", which means we all have no classes and are encouraged to go out and do community service stuff. Since nobody's going to do that, I'm devoting the day to working on papers and perhaps taking out the bike for a ride into Bangor.

Compared to all the hype it has been getting, it is pretty average. Three of the songs are filler in my eyes, and 2 other songs sound the same (admittedly, they both sound awesome). However the other 6 tracks are fucking thrasherific, so it gets a 7/10

I have to listen to The Gathering again for a better opinion, but I think the great songs on TFOD are better than the good songs on The Gathering

I only go in there to see if they might have a shirt I want. It usually isn't the case, as they have 20,000 AILD shirts and one sweet ass Black Sabbath shirt that happens to be a Medium

Nursing a massive fucking hangover. I got incredibly drunk last night, and ended up running across a field at 2 in the morning to talk to a girl I really like.
It made perfect sense at the time. Its a miracle I wasn't caught, tbh. That would have been a suspension for certain. I didn't even get to talk to her, just threw pebbles at her window - missing 90% of the time - for 20 minutes before trying to find my room again. Eventually successfully.
