Ok lets talk guitars real quick ....

Obviously I have the obligatory 5150 that is a must if you are a member of this forum, but I also have access to the following:

Marshall JMP-2203
Peavey Valveking
Mesa Trip Recto
Mesa Dual Recto
Marshall JCM800
Marshall JCM900
Marshall DSL
Marshall TSL

What you guys think? Stick with the 5150 that we all know and love or go for something a bit different?

I have looked all over for the MIDI on this and there is none. We did it with a live drummer, but I am planning on programming it out tonight. If you want to program it feel free, but I can bang it out tonight in about an hour.

Oh no go ahead with the programming, I was offering to process the MIDI. I own and love the Slate stuff but I'm going with Nashville EZX with 'Heaven And Hell' and 'Dream Evil', it just sounds a lot more natural.

Ya I think I am going to go with a more "progressive" sounding production on this very "euro metal" I guess. I am thinking the DT Kick and Snare with the Quick maple Toms tweaked a bit, but I haven't decided yet, I have to see how the scratch guitars come out with the 800 and I will see what works for the mix. That's the advantage of slate is being able to work around the other instruments and not having to have everything work around the drums :)
