So I'm in 10th grade and my parents are talking to me as if I'm going to already flunk out of high school and land a job as a plumber.

I remember as a kid there was a small/personal business septic tank pumper guy. He had a really nice house. Not worth it to me though lol.

I don't remember if it was the same guy, but some dude came and pumped out our septic tank a couple of times. You could smell it several yards away/inside the house. I'd prefer to not either smell that for a career/have my sense of smell burned away by the fumes.

This is what I did yesterday: Took the basic course needed to get a concealed carry permit for the state of Ohio. I turn everything in May 13.

Join the military and get a free Bachelors and Masters.

Take out student loans and be your own boss, just make sure you major in something in demand so you can pay them back. Or: get good grades in high school, study for the SATs and apply for scholarships.

There are a lot of good financial aid options out there, make sure to grab all you can. I'd go to community college and use payment plans to avoid a student loan.
