I had some of these today. They're actually alright. I haven't been able to sell many, though, mostly just gum. We've been pretty hardcore about suggestive sell lately.

I'm no musically talented gal, but going to local music stores are the best to try things out and they are fun. You are quite right there. There about 3 local music shops where I live and one being just for guitars, it is great. I have a few guitars at my house because they are my older brother's and he is actually quite talented on the guitar, but I usually just pick up a guitar of his and fool around on it. Harmless, butchering, talentless fun.
Anyways, doughnuts + Sunny D + Everyody Hates Chris = my night and what I will be doing for the next hour or so.

My local record store told me they could import a copy for me for $40 and I more or less told them to fuck off.
I'm about to convert to Communism over here. The acting assistant manager at my store (she was my supervisor when I started and taught me everything I know about that place) and our electronics technician were shooting shit yesterday at his station and I mentioned that I was looking for a computer.
So she tells me she has this newish Apple and can't be asked to figure out the operating system. She's bringing it in for me on Monday and after I try it out for a week she wants me to pay her whatever I "think it's worth, if that." So stoked about this.
Actually with a minor exception, yesterday all came together really well for me.

I know, right. What kept me away from Apple this whole time was the price tag and the speed at which they become inferior. But for a friendly price, I figure why the hell not. Plus it'll make building a home studio easier.
