The "What Are You Doing This Moment" Thread

Chinese is easy if you just want to be conversational. There is virtually no grammar and pinyin is super easy.

Korean has hangul which is loads easier than learning hanzi/kanji, but it's tough to pronounce and uses grammar similar to Japanese which is tough.

In a strictly vocabulary sense Japanese feels like it would be easier to me. It sounds softer and more similar to a European language. Chinese has all those sounds which makes you sound retarded.

haha. not where I am. if you can't roll your R's and spit indignantly you're a nobody.

to me swedish/norwegian/danish sound like galloping reindeer. Dutch does too

I'm Korean and I love German guys. German guys love yellow girls.

Going to Germany is like going to an all you can eat buffet when you haven't eaten in weeks and not being able to eat even though the food is throwing itself at your mouth.

Also German doesn't sound angry, it sounds kinda funny sometimes for sure but I never got the "angry" thing. I love the way it sounds when dudes are talking to another dude on the phone.

German porn is the worst though, since they're always like "OOOH JA"

Chinese (Mandarin & Cantonese) have 4 tones for certain syllables in most words. Thus there are 5 ways of speaking every word and at least five definitions for every word or sound. This is one difficulty of the language.

I speak German, Quebecois French and a fair degree of conversational Pashto.

I want to someday speak more than 3 languages as well. Just for the awesome experience it would be.

I'm American. You're probably better at English than I am.

The most important to know is when you orgasm in Japanese you don't come, you go. It's "iku iku" - iku is the verb for "to go"

edit: jag kan inte prata svenska - probably spelled every single word wrong too

In Czech you say "I am", or "Make me", "I will make you" et cetera. I don't know where that comes from.

That's pretty cool. English is stupid, but I think everyone knows those phrases well.

Debating whether to take a nap. It's 1 am and I have to be out of the house at 5:40 am to go to the airport. I think I will.
