thanks man) yeah, dean caddy usa custom shop in neck position (SD 59) > Maxon OD9> peavey 5150 crunch channel > single sm57 on a randall 4x12 oversized cab. and a hipass on 150 hz, and a touch of delay.

I pretty much use the same rig with a Mesa oversized cab and the red channel. I'm using a Les Paul with EMG 81 for this.

I think recording whole verses might be cooler - more options to interact. You never know on which part of the verse you shine when it comes to chosing parts)
