Dead Kennedys - Too Drunk to Fuck 6.5/10
I like them but I never could get past the goofy style of these guys enough to truly consider myself a fan. They just make me want to listen to the much better B-52's or something.
The Pogues - A Pair of Brown Eyes 10/10
Love The Pogues, always have and always will. True die-hard boozehounds listen to Irish music.
Kult - Wódka (Vodka) 6/10
I hate vodka but this song was okay.
Jeff Buckley - Lilac Wine 7.5/10
He really was very good at minimalistic compositions like this. I still prefer his father's works but songs like these remind me why people love him so much.
Gil Scott-Heron & Brian Jackson - The Bottle 10/10
That was fucking amazing.
Slim Dusty - My Pal Alcohol 9/10
The embodiment of the Australian spirit. Bloody legend, nuff said.
Tom Waits - Jockey Full of Bourbon 8.5/10
Can't go wrong with Tom Waits + Alcohol. Instrumentally it reminds me of the Black Books theme, which reminds me of Dylan Moran and simply amplifies the theme.
Sachiko Kobayashi - Omoi de Sake 9.5/10
"Life is such a wilderness these days.
Memory wine, getting drunk is all I do."
Unlike the other foreign language song, I actually love sake. Hail yakuza juice!
Gogol Bordello - Alcohol 7/10
That was some crazy gypsy shit.
Genuinely surprised nobody submitted "Gin and Juice" by Snoop Dogg.
