Bauhaus - Nerves
best bauhaus song i've heard. rounding up for being one of the few songs here to really fit. 9/10

Atomic Rooster - Death Walks Behind You
fine but too rooted in blues rock conventions for my tastes. 6/10

Paramore - Emergency
pargamore. i like simple sugary power pop/pop punk/emo stuff but this band sounds very assembly line to me. 2/10

Kate Bush - Hounds of Love
incredibly vulnerable, passionate music from a unique talent. it's overwhelming when played loud, some of those melodies are so shivery and the whole production is massive. one of the best ever. 10/10

65DaysOfStatic - Welcome to the Times
has more of a freeing feeling than anything for me but i like it, less repetitive and laborious and tension-free than most post-rawk i've heard. 7/10

Joe Pass and NHOP - Donna Lee
5/10

The Jesus Lizard - Boiler Maker
big lizard fan over here. 8/10

Nomeansno - Oh No! Bruno!
most i've ever liked a nomeansno song, i should give this band another try. 9/10

King Crimson - Thela Hun Ginjeet
feels more like a talking heads song ha. would give it at least a 9 if it weren't for the interminable spoken word part in the middle, really works for me. 8/10
