Come on @Talos of Atmora, I need my fix!

Bauhaus - 9/10 creative, interested in this band now
Atomic Rooster - 6/10 the intro had so much potential, but then it was fairly standard blues rock
Paramore - 2/10 oh hi arg
Kate Bush - 4/10 weak, and "do do do do"
65DaysOfStatic - 5/10 pseudo-prog
Joe Pass & NHOP - 10/10 for total theory/improv mastery
The Jesus Lizard - 5/10 should be a fun attitude, but the presentation is not really enjoyable
Nomeansno - 6/10 kind of like some early Anthrax but riffs aren't as good
King Crimson - 7/10 ok, kinda overly long

Bauhaus - Nerves
So this is where half the bands in Melbourne got their sound. 7/10

Atomic Rooster - Death Walks Behind You

Quite enjoyable early prog rock, will check out some more of these guys. 8/10

Paramore - Emergency

Ooh, the screamo version, great. The only panic involved here was me wondering if it was going to end before I had to kill myself. 1/10

Kate Bush - Hounds of Love

I was all ready to like this but it didn't do much for me at all. Lyrics fit the theme I guess. 4/10

65DaysOfStatic - Welcome to the Times

I don't understand how this fits the theme in any way at all. It's also pretty meh musically. 3/10

Joe Pass and NHOP - Donna Lee

Holy shit! How is that even possible? Incredible. Cheers Baroque 10/10

The Jesus Lizard - Boiler Maker

The whole thing sounds like an anxiety attack. David Yow is a madman. 10/10

Nomeansno - Oh No! Bruno!

One of my fave songs on Wrong. 10/10

King Crimson - Thela Hun Ginjeet

Pretty good also 7/10

Nice list, cheers.

Bauhaus - Nerves 8.5/10

The sound of nerves literally fraying.

Atomic Rooster - Death Walks Behind You 9/10

Does everything a good old suspenseful horror film does. Gives poseurs a panic attack!

Paramore - Emergency 2/10

Kate Bush - Hounds of Love 7/10

Fantastic, I haven't heard this song before. Added to favourites for later listening.

65DaysOfStatic - Welcome to the Times 7/10

Thoroughly enjoyed this, but I didn't necessarily feel a panicky vibe. Maybe it went over my head? Either way, really cool song.

Joe Pass and NHOP - Donna Lee 6.5/10

The whole time I was thinking "this is like the Ren & Stimpy theme but with class" cool tune, but same issue as the last track.

The Jesus Lizard - Boiler Maker 7.5/10

Noisy, frantic and volatile sounding. Good shit.

Nomeansno - Oh No! Bruno! 7.5/10

This album is a masterpiece and thus, always welcome. Lyrics don't exactly ooze panic though.

King Crimson - Thela Hun Ginjeet 8/10

I LOVE the soundbites, takes this track to a whole new level. It should have been the soundtrack for the film Fear City or something. Urban panic!

Bauhaus – Nerves

Bauhaus was part of the reason I wrote off post-punk in general, but I thought I had at least heard this album and not just She’s in Parties and a few other songs. Definitely don’t remember anything as awesome as this. 9/10.

Atomic Rooster - Death Walks Behind You

Great stuff, need to put them into regular rotation. Could be a little shorter though. 7.5/10.

Paramore – Emergency

Probably should have picked the non-“Screamo Version”. This was pretty decent otherwise actually, albeit predictable. 6/10.

Kate Bush - Hounds of Love

This album prevented me from discovering her earlier stuff, and today I still don’t like it. Repetitious and a bit obnoxious. 4/10.

65DaysOfStatic - Welcome to the Times

Generic post-schlock with a very relaxed feeling and no sense of urgency/panic whatsoever. 2/10.

Joe Pass and NHOP - Donna Lee

Much better. 7.5/10.

The Jesus Lizard - Boiler Maker

Fuck yeah Jesus Lizard. Not one of my favorites of theirs but still great song and well-fitting. 8/10.

Nomeansno - Oh No! Bruno!

See above. 8/10.

King Crimson - Thela Hun Ginjeet

Three in a row. Well, actually this one could be a King Crimson favorite. This is what panicked, urgent music is all about to me. 9/10.
